FedEx presented The Dallas Golf 2007 Fall Classic

The 2007 version of the Fedex Dallas Golf Fall Classic Golf Tournament is in the books.  This year's event featured fantastic weather, a full field, and a HOLE IN ONE !  Yes, Daryl "Soup" Dyson aced the 132-yard Par-3 11th hole with a pitching wedge.  Everyone had a great time, and we raised a bunch of money for the NTPGA Junior Golf Foundation.

This year marked the 25th Anniversary for the Foundation.  Darrel Crall, President of the NTPGA, announced that Dallas Golf has donated over 90,000 golf clubs to kids over the years, and that over $600,000 in college scholarships have been awarded to area juniors.

Dallas Golf would like to thank all of the participants and sponsors who made this year's event possible.  Special thanks to Pat Glavin and Tod Taylor of Fedex for their dedication and support.  Thanks to Darrel Crall and his staff at the NTPGA for being gracious and appreciative of our event.  And thanks to the entire Woodbridge Golf Club Staff for hosting us, and providing us with a fantastic venue to play.

Red Sox Josh Beckett Wears a Q-Link

I don't follow baseball much, but I do enjoy a good playoff series when it comes time.  Last night I caught part of the Red Sox vs. Angels game on TV.  I noticed something interesting about Sox Pitcher Josh Beckett.  I bet people are always wondering what those necklaces are that he wears.  Maybe they are some ancient artifacts, or tribal war symbols....Not really....He's wearing a Q-Link !  What's a Q-Link?  According to the company's web site:
